LIT TEMPUS

The 3rd Information Literacy Training Working Group (ILTWG) meeting was hosted by Middlesex University, London UK. The ILTWG is comprised of representatives from each of the 13 institutions who are partners in the project. The function of the ILTWG is to ensure the application of new IL teaching technologies and to identify training needs for improving specialised information literacy knowledge among librarians and academics across the Western Balkan institutions in the project.

The ILTWG has responsibility for the forming of Guidelines for training of IL practitioners. It assesses the need for creating/improving IL competencies and disciplines within the Consortium. The ILTWG also identifies management strategies for updating of IL training content and exchange of IL experience among partners to ensure best IL practice across the Western Balkan institutions in the project.
